Executive Blue Pools – Your North Texas Pool Experts
Executive Blue Pools is Collin County’s certified pool service company that transformed industry standards after experiencing the same poor service you probably have.
The problem we solved
- Founded: 2013
- Location: Frisco, Texas
- Service Area: All of Collin County
Before Executive Blue Pools existed, I was just another frustrated North Texas homeowner. July 2013: my pool turned green for the third time. My “pool guy” hadn’t shown up in two weeks, wouldn’t answer calls, and when he finally appeared, threw shock in the water and left. No explanation. No solution. No follow-up.
The problem wasn’t my pool, it was the industry.
What we built
I spent six months earning every credential most pool companies skip:
- RAIL License – For legal electrical work (most companies operate without this)
- CPO® Certification – Professional water chemistry training
- IPSSA Membership – Advanced troubleshooting expertise
Then I studied what makes North Texas pools different:
- 300 ppm hard water from DFW tap systems
- Clay soil that breaks underground pipes
- 100°F+ summers that triple chlorine consumption
- Freeze events requiring specialized winterization
The result: A pool service company built by someone who actually understands what homeowners need.
Our founding principles
- Show up on schedule – not “sometime this week”
- Photo updates after every visit – proof we were there
- Answer the phone – especially during July equipment failures
- Solve root causes – not just treat symptoms
- Carry real insurance – $1M coverage, not bare minimum
What drives us today
Over a decade later:
- 200+ five-star reviews on Google and Angie’s List
- Hundreds of Collin County families served weekly
- Same founding promise: reliable service from certified professionals
We’re not just another pool service. We’re the company I needed when my pool turned green in 2013, and the company your neighbors now trust with their backyard oasis.
Your pool deserves technicians who understand North Texas water chemistry, not generic “throw and go” service.
That’s why we exist.
What makes us different
Your pool service should have a RAIL license. Most don’t.
Executive Blue Pools has maintained North Texas pools since 2014 with every credential required, and several that aren’t. We’re the company your insurance agent hopes you hire: RAIL-licensed for electrical work, CPO®-certified for water chemistry, and carrying $1M in real coverage.
In a market flooded with “chuck in a truck” operations, we’re the professionals who can legally touch your equipment, properly balance DFW’s 300 ppm hard water, and actually answer when your pump stops working in July.
North Texas pool expertise
Generic pool service doesn’t work here. Our technicians are trained specifically for Collin County’s unique challenges:
Hard water management
DFW tap water averages 300 ppm calcium hardness—nearly double the ideal range. We know how to balance chemistry to prevent scale buildup without constant drain-and-refills.
Clay soil challenges
Over 90% of Collin County has expansive clay soil that breaks underground pipes. We inspect for early warning signs and know how to diagnose soil-related leaks.
Extreme heat protocol
When temperatures hit 100°F+, chlorine consumption triples. We adjust chemical programs for summer heat—not just throw more shock and hope.
Freeze protection
North Texas freeze events can cause $2,000-$5,000 in equipment damage. Our technicians know proper winterization and emergency protocols.
The question most pool companies can’t answer:
“Can I see your RAIL license number?”
Unlicensed electrical work results in $2,000-$5,000 fines and voids your insurance. Ask your current pool service for proof. Then call us.
Our professional standards
- RAIL licensed: for all electrical work
- Certified: CPO®, IPSSA, and PHTA credentials
- Insured: $1M+ liability coverage (exceeds Texas minimums)
- Background Checked: Every technician screened and drug tested
- Locally Owned: Family business serving Collin County since 2014
- Responsive: Answer phones, return calls, show up on time
We’re not the cheapest service. We’re the one that actually solves problems instead of creating new ones.

|
CPO® Certification Certified Pool Operator |
Our technicians have proven expertise in water chemistry and safety – not just “learning on the job” like uncertified competitors | Industry gold standard; required for commercial pools but many residential services skip this training | Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) |
|
IPSSA Water Chemistry Certification Independent Pool & Spa Service Association |
Executive Blue Pools maintains advanced chemistry expertise and backup coverage – your service continues even if your tech is unavailable | Optional certification that separates professional services from “splash and dash” companies | Independent Pool & Spa Service Association (IPSSA) |
|
CSP/PHTA Service Professional Certified Service Professional |
We invest in ongoing education and troubleshooting expertise – while others rely on outdated knowledge | Professional credential many budget services don’t pursue due to time and cost investment | Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) |
|
Full Liability Insurance $1M+ coverage (exceeds Texas minimums) |
Executive Blue Pools carries comprehensive insurance – you’re protected, unlike with uninsured “truck and net” operations | Many operators carry minimal or no insurance, leaving homeowners at risk | A-rated insurance carriers |

Top five questions you need to ask a pool services company before you hire them
Can you provide references?
Can you provide references?
If you just came here from an online search, and you have been browsing for pool service, you will notice there are dozens of companies offering weekly pool service. But how certain can you be about the integrity of pool service companies? References will tell you about their experience and technical know-how and their commitment to their clients.
Executive Blue Pools has satisfied customers across North Texas. More than 200 people have reviewed us on Angie’s List and Google.
Are you licensed and insured?
Are you licensed and insured?
You’d be surprised to learn how many pool service “companies” in Frisco don’t actually have a license or insurance. However, our technicians carry the following accreditations:
- Full industry-leading insurance
- Texas Residential Appliance Installers License
- Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) certified pool operator certification
Is the work guaranteed?

Our make-it-right guarantee ensures that if the job is not done to your satisfaction we promise to make it right immediately! In addition, we are a premium dealer for Zodiac products including Jandy and Polaris. Our company can offer an exclusive level of warranty and support to our clients.
Will you take care of my pool equipment?
Will you take care of my pool equipment?
Pool service companies with “generic” knowledge about pool equipment usually take longer to solve the issue, may damage it while trying to repair it and have a harder time identifying parts to be replaced and where to source them. Because a pump is not just a pump. A filter is not a whichever filter. And pool heaters are not all created equal.
That’s why you should ask if they have been factory trained by the equipment brands you have in your pool, be them Jandy, Pentair, Hayward, Sta-Rite, Raypak – you name it. This ensures the problem will be solved promptly and at the lowest cost.
Will you make sure our pool water is safe and healthy?
Will you make sure our pool water is safe and healthy?
There is a big difference between “looking” clean and “being” clean. Chemical imbalances in your pool can deteriorate your pool lining either by excess calcium deposits or erosion. As a result, problems can clog your pumps and filters or burn them because of water acidity, not to mention irritate your skin or overlook the proliferation of fungi and bacteria.
At Executive Blue Pools, we ensure proper water chemistry balance to protect both your pool equipment and your family’s health.
What your neighbors are saying about Executive Blue Pools
Excellent pool service and a great team to work with. Very responsive when I have had issues. Weekly summary email of pool service is a nice touch I didn’t have with my previous provider. Would recommend to anyone in the Plano/Frisco/Allen/McKinney area.
Great on routine services and quick to follow up on questions!
Superior service! Easy to work with. Quick to follow up if I have any questions. I could not be more satisfied with the weekly maintenance. Executive Blue also re-built my pool and spa. Again a great team to work with. We are very satisfied with their work.
We’ve used Executive Blue for the past 3 years with nothing but great results. Our pool is always in great shape, and the weekly maintenance team is very thorough.
They did an excellent job and the pool was well maintained during the 4 weeks that we used the service.
Our pool is in a heavily wooded area and they are doing a very good job cleaning. They even spent an extra hour cleaning red stains from the plaster and did not charge me. They have been servicing my pool for a month and I plan to continue their services!
